Institutional Accreditation is a process whereby the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) certifies the quality of public higher education institutions.

The UTEM, accredited by the period 2010-2011, presented to the CNA Institutional Fact Sheet May 2, to run for re-accreditation and must submit the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report 30 June 2011.

Day 08 March, the Rector Luis Pinto Faverio chaired a meeting attended by the Vice-Chancellors, the Director of Self Assessment and Accreditation, the Director General of Planning, part of the management team and an academic at the University of Chile Carlos Caceres, who is advising our university in the PDE Strategic Development Plan 2011-2015.
