History:
Its origin is uncertain, and its dating. Some call as a Christian, built after 1248 following the occupation of the region by English troops. Do not let this fact be contradictory, both in Arabic and in time would be necessary the presence of the watchman who once lost at the hands of the army of Fernando III .
Description:
Located in the middle of a very extensive plain stand only a few low-lying hills, so its visual control of the region is very wide. To the north, connects visually with Aznalcóllar, while southeast Albaida del Aljarafe are and Sanlúcar la Mayor.
Its plan is rectangular, 9 x 6 meters, with the access door located on the west side. The roof, now defunct, was a barrel vault of the remaining startups. You can not discern whether it had one floor, and that his remains there is nothing that indicates it. Also there are no traces of stairs, so that access to the upper floor should be using a ladder or wooden stairs. On the door is an opening I could have been a brocket.
Materials:
is built on a concrete base with lime and sand stone and slate quarrying. The rest of the building is entirely based mud pebbles and ceramic remains except the jambs and the lintel of the door disappeared, which were blocks of stone.
Condition:
It is in ruins. Two huge cracks in its north and south walls threaten the separation of the east wall.
