As part of the operational restructuring that the company is living, marked by changes in the route network and fleet changes, LAN Airlines has begun transfer Airbus A320 to its subsidiaries Ecuador and Argentina. In total A320 will be six teams, including five of them will go to the fleet Ecuador LAN and one LAN Argentina.

With enrollment HC-CLA (ex CC-BAA) last week, the Ecuadorian branch entered its first A320, which will replace the A318 HC-CHO (ex CC-CVP) in LAN Ecuador's domestic operations. Meanwhile, LAN Argentina Airbus A320 entered its 11th LV-CKV (ex-CC-COL) which will be used to increase operations in Argentina, with the launch of BahÃa Blanca and new destination from Monday 25 April. This new route will have two flights daily from Monday to Saturday, while on Sundays will be offered only one flight. Also transferred to LAN LAN Argentina Boeing 767-300ER to CC-CXH (now LV-CKU) as a replacement for B767-CFV LV. The LV-CKV for the first of at least two Airbus A320 this year trasandina incorporated in the subsidiary.
In this way, the fleet of LAN Ecuador will have a fleet consisting of five Airbus A320s and four Boeing 767-300ER, with which flies to four domestic and four international destinations. While LAN Argentina operates 11 Airbus A320 and two B767-300ER aircraft serving 14 destinations in the country and five international trasandino within America.
